Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Meets with Speaker of Congress of Deputies of Spain

During her official visit to the Kingdom of Spain, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova held a meeting with Speaker of the Congress of Deputies Francina Armengol. Welcoming the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Speaker of the Congress of Deputies Francina Armengol expressed confidence that this visit would significantly contribute to the further strengthening of the existing ties between the parliaments and states of both nations. She conveyed gratitude for Azerbaijan’s exemplary organisation and hosting of the COP29, adding that the conference, which had brought forth significant decisions, had been attended by the Head of Government of the Kingdom of Spain.

Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Arrives in Russian Federation on a Working Visit

A parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova arrived in St Petersburg in Russian Federation for a working visit to participate in the meeting of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly (CIS IPA), the 58th Plenary Session of the CIS IPA and ceremonial gatherings set to mark the 80th anniversary of the Victory over fascism in the 1941–1945 war.
