President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has met with the Speakers of Parliament who have been taking part in the meeting of the 152^nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova attended that meeting.

Greeting the Speakers of Parliament at the meeting, the President of Türkiye underscored the significance of the event and the relevance of the topics tabled. He lauded the mission fulfilled by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and expressed his belief that the 152^nd Assembly would contribute, by means of parliamentary diplomacy, to building the foundation of a fairer and safer future world and a future marked by peace and stability.

President Tayyip Erdoğan stressed that making co-operation amongst parliaments stronger matters dramatically in resolving global challenges; he also emphasised the need to promote dialogue and mutual understanding.
