A parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova arrived in the town of Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia on a working visit on 16 September.

At the Kuala Lumpur international airport the delegation were welcomed by Vice President of the Senate Datuk Nur Jazlan bin Tan Sri Mohamed, Secretary of the Senate Muhd Sujairi bin Abdullah, Secretary of the House of Representatives Nizam Mydin bin Bacha Mydin, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Malaysia Irfan Davudov and other officials.

During the visit, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis will take part in the 46^th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Association of South East Asian Nations.

The visit itinerary includes Sahiba Gafarova’s speech at the Session and her several meetings with Heads of the participating Parliamentary Delegations.
