The parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova have arrived in the Kingdom of Spain on an official visit.

The Speaker of the Milli Majlis was welcomed at the Barajas Airport of Madrid by our country's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Spain Ramiz Hasanov and other officials.

The itinerary for this visit envisages a number of meetings that the Speaker of the Milli Majlis will have with local officials. The present state and future development of the Azerbaijani-Spanish inter-parliamentary relations will be discussed at those meetings.

The official visit will end on 20 May.
