Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met with Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Valentina Matvienko on the sidelines of the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Uzbekistan.

Views were exchanged at the meeting on a number of issues related to co-operation between Azerbaijan and Russia in various fields. The Speaker of the Federation Council shared her positive impressions of her visit to our country earlier this year.

Various aspects of bilateral and multilateral co-operation between our parliaments were also discussed, along with other topics of mutual interest.
