As part of a working visit to Saint Petersburg to attend the meeting of the Council of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly and the 57th plenary session of the CIS IPA, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has had a meeting with Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko on 21 November.

The conversation saw an exchange of views on matters concerning relations between our countries and parliaments. Issues related to the co-operation between our parliaments in international organisations, including the CIS IPA, were discussed as well.
