The coronation ceremony for Charles the Third, King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, was held on 6 May.

Azerbaijan was represented at the proceedings at Westminster Abbey by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Speaker Sahiba Gafarova. More than two thousand guests, amongst them heads of state and government, were present at the coronation.

It should be mentioned that Madam Speaker met at the ceremony with UK Foreign Minister James Cleverly, Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Fuat Oktay, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov and Deputy PM of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov.
