Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova who is in Antalya on a working trip to take part in the 13^th plenum of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly had a conversation on 9 January with Chairman of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

Their conversation was about the topical issues on the bilateral agenda, the post-conflict situation in the region and other matters of equal interest to both sides. Sahiba Gafarova told of the Azerbaijani initiatives to ensure regional peace and security and to foster co-operation. Besides, the two legislature leaders discussed the current state of the bilateral inter-parliamentary connexions.
