Chairman of Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan’s Oliy Majlis Arrives in Azerbaijan

Chairman of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Nurdinjon Ismoilov and the parliamentary delegation led by him arrived in Azerbaijan on 15 May.

The Uzbek parliamentary delegation were welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by First Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis Ali Huseynli, the leader of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan inter-parliamentary connexions working group Eldar Ibrahimov, the Azerbaijani and Uzbek ambassadors, Huseyn Guliyev and Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, respectively, and other officials.

Whilst in Azerbaijan, the delegation of Uzbekistan will hold a string of official visits and will also take part in the Third General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Economic Co-operation Organisation.

This official visit will end on 19 May.
