The Third General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Economic Co-operation Organisation, to be attended by delegations lead by the speakers of the parliaments of Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, will take place in the chamber of plenary sittings of the Milli Majlis on 17 May.

First, there will be meetings of the PAECO Executive Council and the committees for the Trade Agreement (organisation of trade and economic co-operation), for communications and co-ordination, and for  women’s, youth’s and cultural affairs.

‘Co-operation in the post-pandemic period: the challenges and restoration opportunities’ is the redline topic of the 3^rd General Conference. Besides, there will be exchanges of opinions as to the work to be carried out during that same period.

Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova is going to have a number of bilateral conversations with the leaders of the attending delegations on the margins of the conference.
