The chairman of the Milli Majlis Health Committee Ahliman Amiraslanov congratulated the MPs on the approaching V-Day on the 8th of November before turning to the agenda at the online committee meeting held on 3 November.

The agenda dealt with the first-reading Bill containing amendments to the Water, Customs and City-Planning & Building Codes as well as the laws ‘On Mineral Resources’, ‘On Fishing and Fisheries’, ‘On the Animal World’, ‘On Environmental Protection’, ‘On Huntsmanship’, ‘On the Real Estate Register’, ‘On Veterinary’, ‘On Medications’, ‘On Physical Education and Sports’, ‘On Culture’, ‘On Maintaining Measurement Traceability’ and ‘On Licences and Permits’. The amendments follow those to the State Duty Law; the purpose is to determine new state duties for certain legal actions and services.

Article 6.10 ‘On the State Registration of Medications’ of the Medications Law is edited to stipulate that the state duty the amount of which is determined in the said law shall be payable for registration and re-registration by the State of medications and pharmaceutical compounds as well as for the state registration of modifications in existing registration papers and, last but not least, for the issue of the registration certificates.

The committee members suggested that the document should be tabled at a plenary sitting of the Milli Majlis in the first reading.

The issues du jour were discussed then. The deputy chairman of the committee Rashad Mahmudov and the MPs Malahat Ibrahimghizi, Kamaladdin Gafarov and Ilham Mammadov voiced their ideas and proposals concerning the health care system of the country.

The MPs Anatoliy Rafailov, Kamila Aliyeva, Sadagat Valiyeva, Ulvi Hajiyev and Soltan Mammadov had joined the virtual meeting, too.
