PABSEC Holds 70th Bureau Meeting, 65th Standing Committee Meeting in Baku

The 70th meeting of the Bureau and the 65th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation (PABSEC) were held in Baku on 17 June.
Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, Incumbent Chairwoman of the PABSEC Sahiba Gafarova presided over the meetings. She expressed a confidence that the discussions will be constructive and fruitful, and that the decisions to be made will contribute positively to the future work of the Organisation.
The discussions that followed covered the agenda of the PABSEC General Assembly, the Organisation’s activities over the past period, issues pertaining to its next-period operations and a number of organisational matters. Appropriate decisions were made eventually.
