The delegation led by Speaker of the Senate of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq, visiting in our country currently, arrived in the Alley of Honour on 28 May, where with great esteem they paid tribute to the memory of the National Leader of our people, architect and builder of the modern Azerbaijani state Heydar Aliyev, laid a wreath at his tombstone and adorned it with fresh flowers.

Also as part of the visit, the delegation went to the Victory Park in Baku, where they installed a wreath at the memorial and put fresh flowers at it. The guests were provided with detailed information about the Victory Park, established to commit to annals the great and historic Victory of the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War, and to perpetuate the cherished memory of our shahids.

On the visits to both the Alley of Honour and the Victory Park the delegation were accompanied by Member of the Milli Majlis and Head of the Azerbaijan-Egypt Inter-Parliamentary Relations Working Group Jeyhun Mammadov as well as other officials.
