The parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Senate of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan on an official visit on 24 May.

The Speaker of the Senate of Egypt was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Musa Gasimli, Head of the Milli Majlis Working Group for inter-parliamentary relations with Egypt Jeyhun Mammadov, Egypt’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hisham Muhammad Naghi Abdel Hamid and other officials.

During the visit, Speaker Abdel Wahab Abdel Razeq will hold a number of meetings with Azerbaijani officials; there will be an exchange of opinions about growth prospects of the bilateral relations.

This official visit will draw to a close on 28 May.
