Azerbaijani MPs Will Join Meetings of CIS IPA Commissions

Members of the Milli Majlis are going to St Petersburg on 22 May to take part in scheduled meetings of two permanent commissions of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.

MP Fazail Aghamali will join the others at the meeting of the Permanent Commission on Practices of State-Building and Local Government to discuss, amongst all the matters on the agenda, materialisation and protection of national electronic sovereignties, following e-voting rules, local self-government activities to maintain and protect citizens' rights in digital environments, and implementation of state environmental policy in situ.

MP Jala Aliyeva is going to take part in the meeting of the Permanent Commission on Agrarian Policy, Natural Resources and Ecology. They will be reviewing the model draft laws ‘On Organic Agriculture’, ‘On Atmospheric Air Protection’, ‘On Soil Protection’ and ‘On Environmental Monitoring’. Other matters are slated for consideration at the commission meeting as well.

Our law-makers’ trip to RF is scheduled to end on 25 May.
