To PACE Committees’ Meetings

Milli Majlis Member Sevinj Fataliyeva is leaving for Paris on 21 May to join the meeting of the PACE Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development. On the same day, our legislators Erkin Gadirli and Kamal Jafarov will fly to Larnaca in the Republic of Cyprus meaning to take part in the meeting of the PACE Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights.

The meetings will have reports on labour, social, health and other human rights and social protection matters read and discussed. Issues such as combating trafficking in human beings and the financing of terrorism will be discussed. Appropriate decisions are to be taken.

The members of the Milli Majlis will comment on the agendas and put across their own suggestions regarding its items.

Kamal Jafarov is going to table a report ‘UK human rights law reforms: implications in the context of human rights protection at home and in Europe’ at the gathering in Larnaca.
