15th Plenary Session of Asian Parliamentary Assembly Begins in Baku under Azerbaijani Chairmanship
The 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) has commenced in Baku under Azerbaijan’s chairmanship. The event is attended by 35 delegations, with a total of around 280 representatives, and is set to discuss a number of important issues.

15th Plenary Session of Asian Parliamentary Assembly to be Held in Baku
The 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) will be held in Baku under the chairmanship of Azerbaijan from 18 to 20 February. The session is themed "The Role of Parliamentary Diplomacy in Strengthening Multilateral Cooperation in Asia". Delegations from the parliaments of more than 30 countries and international organisations are expected to participate, including speakers from over 10 nations.

On 31st January, A voluntary blood donation campaign was held in the Milli Majlis on 31 January in support of the decrees of President Ilham Aliyev with regards to the promotion of blood donation and the transfusion services, as well as in response to the call by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to organise voluntary blood donation campaigns in aid of patients with hereditary blood disorders and those in urgent need of surgery.
