A Meeting with Delegation of Belarus at Milli Majlis

Member of Milli Majlis, head of the Azerbaijani-Belarusian Inter-Parliamentary Relations Working Group Ziyad Samadzade met with a delegation of the Parliament of Belarus led by Chairman of its Education, Culture and Science Commission Igor Marzalyuk on 1 May.

The sides spent the meeting discussing the friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Belarus and the work being done to strengthen our relations in various areas. Also, they exchanged views upon broadening the bilateral inter-parliamentary connexions and the mutually advantageous co-operation between our MPs in the friendship groups and in inter-parliamentary organisations alike.

The high organisational standards set by the VI World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue. The importance of combined efforts to keep peace and security regionally and globally was underlined as well.

Other matters of shared interest were talked of, besides.

Amongst the officials who attended the meeting were members of the Milli Majlis Azerbaijani-Belarusian Inter-Parliamentary Relations Working Group Tahir Mirkishili (a committee chairman), MP Azer Badamov and MP Rufat Guliyev.
