Nasibli Nasib Loghman

 Born in the village of Goshakilsa of Bolnisi region, Georgia, September 05, 1956; graduated from the History Department at Azerbaijan State University; Dr of History; author of five monographs and over 100 scientific articles; foreign languages: English, Persian, Russian and French.
Since 1978 Senior laboratory assistant, junior scientific associate, scientific associate at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences; since 1987 translator for the project on thermal power plant construction in the Islamic Republic of Iran; since 1988 scientific associate at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences; Deputy Head of Department and later Head of Department at the History Institute; between the years of 1992-1994 ambassador of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Iran; between the years of 1994-2002 associate professor at Baku Asia University; professor, chair and dean at Khazar University; between the years of 1997?1998 and 2002?2003 worked at Chicago and John Hopkins Universities in the United States.
Member of the Musavat Party.
On November 6, 2005 elected as Member of Parliament from 2nd Khatai Constituency No 34; member of the Standing Commission of the Milli Mejlis on International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations; member of the Azerbaijan-USA, Azerbaijan-UK, Azerbaijan-Georgia, Azerbaijan-Turkey working groups on interparliamentary relations.
Married, with two children.
